The “Blues Cruise” is a musical event which takes place every year. Historical tjalks sail from Harlingen to Terschelling and back during a weekend. On board are blues bands and (blues) music lovers. The bands perform in Harlingen as well as on the island of Terschelling.
It’s an all-inclusive weekend which means that all meals and beverages on board are included in the price. But we do expect everyone on board to lend a hand, for example cooking the meals or washing the dishes.
Live Blues @ Harlingen and Terschelling
You come aboard on Friday night and get settled in. In the evening the blues bands perform in Harlingen and let us enjoy “their rhythm and their blues”. After Saturday morning breakfast and brief sailing instructions we set sail for Terschelling.
Sailing on the Wadden Sea
You don’t need any sailing experience, the well-trained crew on board will explain everything to you. Everyone can assist setting sail and executing sailing manoeuvres. Is there anything more beautiful than sailing across the Wadden Sea together to one of the islands? After spending the day on the water the ship docks at the harbour of West-Terschelling. After dinner on board the blues bands perform in various cafes in West-Terschelling.
On Sunday we return home, sailing to Harlingen.
