Gert-Jan Meertens

Gert Jan joined us on the Spes Mea in 2014. Born in Zuidbroek, Groningen in 1989, GJ also grew up there, after working for a while in the construction as a carpenter, truck drivertransporting beets and for the Jumbo. The Spes Mea was found through a friend and the new home for Gert Jan became Harlingen. Gert Jan likes the peace on board of a sailing ship, but will be on the road again the next years, because that is where his heart lies!
